Operation

Insert an SD, MMC or MS memory card (up to 2GB), containing your desired formatted pictures, into card slot on the Right side of the photo frame. The digital photo frame will initialize the files and display those photos in a thumbnail format. You may also use a USB flash drive (up to 2GB) to transfer your files.

Please Note: There is a maximum of 12 pictures and 12 messages for this machine.

Recording Messages

First turn the ON/OFF/VOL control knob to ON and set to an audible level. Set your Scan Mode dial to Mode 1.Using one hand, press and hold the Record button on the back of the unit. Using your other hand, press the textured yellow plate on the front of the unit to record a message for the first photo, starting from the top left that is highlighted. You have a maximum record time of 25 seconds per message. When you are finished recording the message release only the yellow plate then press down on the yellow plate again to move and record the next photo. Continue this until all your photos have recordings. If you release the record button before recording all your messages, the photos and messages will be out of sync with each other. You will need to turn off the device wait 5 seconds turn it back on and start over again.

Message Modes

Using the mode changer knob, select the desired mode 1, 2 or 3.

• Mode 1: plays each picture message and advances to next picture each time the yellow plate is depressed.

• Mode 2: push yellow plate to start scan, push again to speak pre-recorded message

• Mode 3: same as 2 but with auditory cueing. Press the yellow plate once to start the unit scanning through each picture, during the scanning the pre recorded messages will play at a reduced volume level. This gives the user an auditory "preview" of the current message. Pressing the yellow switch again will play the current message at full volume. To resume the scan press the yellow plate again, this will start the scan from the last message played at full volume.

Please Note: When changing modes always turn the machine off first, then switch to the new mode. For proper synchronisation of pictures and messages the machine must always start from the first picture (left to right).
